-They blocked the roadway and railway intro the city for 'construction' in hopes allies would give up
-Allies fearing domino theory decided to airlift supplies to West Berlin
-Supplied 2.5 million people for 15 months to keep the city up and running
-One plane landed every 2 minutes everyday all day in Berlin
-The Soviets finally gave up and formed two government and open the roads
-Allies keep western half of Berlin and it didn't go communist
-Allies formed NATO in response
